Manual router channel setting

The above is to manually change the router channel from 172 to 1 as a solution to intermittent internet disconnection while using the RN11WC product.

The change method was written with the IPTIME manufacturer's product, and the setting method may differ for each manufacturer.

This is the description of the process of connecting the PC and the router wired/wireless.

  1. Open a web browser on a PC connected to the router by wire or wirelessly, and enter “192.168.0.1” in the browser address bar to access the router management page and select management tools.

RN172 only supports 2.4Ghz. 5Ghz not supported

2. Select Wireless Settings/Security - After selecting 2.4Ghz basic wireless network, enter the desired network SSID, encryption method (WPA2PSK + AES recommended), and password, then click “Apply”.

3. Channels can be found by clicking “Channel Search”.“Channel 1~13” to “Channel 1~11” After selecting the searched channel as the optimal channel, click the Apply button at the bottom right.

In an environment with many APs (routers) around, slowdown or disconnection may occur even with the optimal channel. You can reduce the frequency of occurrence by manually changing the channel to avoid duplication.
