How to check your Internet connection
RN400 Family
After the WiFi setup is complete, a reboot will occur. Wait without pressing anything. If the product display window shows as below, the internet is connected.
RN171, RN172 products
After completing the WiFi setup, wait after rebooting. Observe the LED status on the front panel. If the LED turns green and red every 10 seconds, the internet connection is normal. At this time, a new device can be registered. If it stays red, there is no internet connection.
Why can't I connect to the Internet?
- Incorrectly entered static IP address
- My router doesn't have an Internet connection.
- If my security firewall blocked Radionode365
- When the IP address assigned by the computer team is for internal network only
- Error in DNS address set in the product
- If the Internet router uses channels 12 and 13 (some of the old models of RN172)
Resolution
If it is a firewall problem, you should request an exception from the in-house security team. Modify the security policy so that data can be transmitted to radionode365.com.
If the assigned IP address is exclusive to the internal network, it must be re-assigned to an IP address that can access the external network and then set on the product. The internal IP address is not accessible from google.com.
If you use private DNS, sometimes you cannot connect to Radionode365. In this case, please change the setting to google DNS (8.8.8.8).
If the router uses 12,13 or 400 channels, if there is an error in the RNXNUMX's operation, please download a firmware update to solve the problem. Please contact your dealer for a firmware update.
