Is there a difference between the value of the temperature sensor of the newly installed radio node and the value of the existing temperature sensor? Wondering which sensor is correct?

Why is the value different from the existing sensor?

1.Position of temperature sensor

In many cases, the position of the temperature sensor used for control is different from that of the radio node. Since the temperature value is very sensitive to the wind direction of the refrigerator, it is recommended to install it in a similar location.

2. Temperature sensor tip reaction speed

The speed of reaction to temperature varies depending on the material and thickness of the temperature sensor.

In the case of a thin temperature sensor, the temperature drops immediately when the cooler operates. However, if the temperature sensor is thick, it takes a long time for the temperature to drop to the correct temperature.

If there are many variations in temperature, the temperature value may always look different. If there is no change in temperature for a long time, the temperature value will eventually be measured the same.

Temperature sensors are very diverse, such as RTD, NTC, and thermocouples. Since each temperature sensor element has different characteristics, it is important to select a temperature sensor suitable for the temperature range.

Temperature sensor verification method

1.National accredited report

In Korea, there is a KOLAS certificate.

It is a report with extra cost, but it is the most reliable verification method. In the case of a business that manages very sensitive substances, we periodically request calibration of all sensors and manage the sensors with the report.

Reports can be issued at centers that have been certified by the government. The calibration center uses a thermo-hygrostat to create a three-point temperature environment specified by the customer and issues a report confirming that the same temperature value is present.

The difference in temperature value, customer information, and serial information of the product are included in the report.

2.Radionode manufacturer issued report

It is also possible to request a radio node manufacturer, Dekist Co., Ltd, to issue individual manufacturer reports. If requested by the customer, the temperature calibrator is used to check the temperature difference for three points and issue a report.

Temperature and humidity products come with a bulk certificate by default. In the factory, representative samples are obtained on a specific production day and inspected in groups. Produce the average of the calibration values ​​of the samples applied to all products. The adjustment value of the sensor varies depending on the production point.

It is also possible to issue an individual certificate if the customer requests it separately. This is not a sampling test, but a report that has been physically adjusted by connecting sensors to be delivered. Adjustment values ​​are entered individually for each product. There is a separate cost.
