Using the RN400 Door Sensor

Thank you for purchasing the DEKIST RN400 product.

✓ The sub-models are as follows.
  RN400-H2EX (Multi-function temperature and humidity transmitter)
  RN400-T2 EX (Multi-Function Temperature Transmitter)

RN400-XX_EX product supports door open detection function using internal terminal block. You can monitor door opening by connecting with a door sensor (sold separately).

RN400 H2_EX uses channel 5, RN400 T2_EX uses channel 3, respectively.

1. Setting up Door Contact

Activate the RN400 AP mode to open the setting window on the smartphone or PC screen.

On the settings screen,

Setting Mode > MEASUREMENT > Wakeup By Door Contact 
Enable : Using door open detection
Disable : Do not use door open detection

Select Enable.

2. Understanding Door Contact Marked Values

When the door is opened and the DOOR sensor becomes 'open', the Door Contact function of RN400 is automatically activated in sleep mode, and 'EVENT l DOOR OPENED!' is displayed.
In addition, the RN400 simultaneously measures the current values ​​of all connected sensors and immediately updates the measured data (Send to server) do.
